Hi, I'm Tom — I’ve been part of the bike and ski world for as long as I can remember — building a lifelong career around my love for the outdoors and the gear that makes every adventure possible. From wrenching in local shops to running Sandy Pedals Bike Share on Nantucket Island, I’ve pretty much seen — and fixed — it all.

With decades of hands-on experience in repairs, rentals, and customer service, I’m all about helping people get outside and enjoy the ride, no matter their experience level. I take pride in perfect tunes, sharing stories about the history of cycling and snow sports, and chatting with anyone who walks through the door.  At the end of the day, I love helping people enjoy their gear and getting them back out there doing what they love. 

Hi, I’m Ken — a lifelong rider, skier, and all-around outdoor enthusiast who finally decided to turn passion into profession. I’ve spent my life chasing fresh trails and snowy lines, and along the way, I’ve picked up a love for fixing, tuning, and building just about anything with gears or edges. With a background in machining and metalworking, I take pride in the details — whether it’s dialing in the perfect ski tune, rebuilding a drivetrain, or helping someone get back out to play.

Pedals & Powder is my way of giving back to the community that’s given me so much — a space where everyone, from weekend riders to powder hounds, can feel welcome, get great service, and keep their adventures rolling year-round.
